Basic Apostolic Doctrine provides a foundational study of key Apostolic beliefs concerning the nature of God and the New Birth. Students will examine the biblical teaching of the Oneness of the Godhead, including God’s progressive self-revelation, theological terminology, the dual nature of Jesus Christ, and common objections to Oneness doctrine. The course also explores the core obedience components of salvation: belief, repentance, baptism, and receiving the Holy Ghost. The course also equips students to explain these doctrines from Scripture. The final section addresses common controversies and passages related to both Oneness and the New Birth.
