This course is about discovering meaning, membership, and maturity–finding your place in God’s Church.

In stepONE, you’ll be introduced to Inland Lighthouse Church of Riverside—our story, structure, mission, vision, and values—so you can understand not just what we do, but why we do it. What does it mean to be the Church? Using Acts 2 as our framework, you’ll discover the six purposes of a healthy church: Warmth, Witness, Worship, Word, Work, and Wonders.

StepTWO covers the how and why of Jesus’ coming and what we should do in response. You’ll be able to identify shared patterns of how God has always worked with mankind using two simple concepts. 

StepTHREE is all about maturity. We’ll discover practical helps for spiritual disciplines, rights and responsibilities of believers, and Biblical stewardship concepts.

Altogether, we believe this is what creates a healthy environment for growth—the place where faith matures, gifts are activated, and you begin to clearly see your individual purpose and meaning in God’s plan.
